I bought a TV for my autistic son and the seller broke the stand on the TV when packing it up for posting. The seller said she was happy to refund me but her son might be able to fix it. Seller doesn't have a clue what to do.
I asked for a refund. After a few days of communication with seller they finally agree to give me a refund. Seller has now said she refunded the money to me but it's not showing up in my eBay account next to the item and it's not in my bank account. I have contacted eBay but, because I've not received the TV I could only cancel, which doesn't really cover my problem. The closest option was "TV will not arrive on time"
so basically I feel stuck and I think I've lost my money.
what can I do.

the seller had been in touch again to say she refunded through eBay but it's not showing on my TV purchase.
i have the estimated delivery date which is 14th / 15th November. I will then open a not received case.
thank you for your help

Refunds return to source and can take a while (7 days to bank, up to 30 days to credit card) but if she'd done it via ebay it would show up. If it hasn't been issued wait until the estimated delivery date has passed then open a "not received" case. If necessary escalate after 3 complete working days.

I'm not sure there is an estimated delivery date. But I'll check that now.
thanks for your quick response 👍
