Bought Carpet Cleaner broken

I bought a VAX carpet cleaner from seller which arrived dirty. I followed manual to take apart and clean it. Found the fanbelt broken. Bought a new fan belt. Sent complaint to seller and they said to send it back. I was unable to send it back as too heavy to carry to post office. I received new fanbelt but there was no spindle to attach it too!!! It would never have worked. I paid £49.99 for a broken appliance and cannot get refund as the case is closed. I will never buy from ebay ever again.

You did not buy from ebay, you bought from a member selling on ebay.

Why didn't you use the ebay 30 day money back guarantee, it is on every listing and buyers are expected to read it.

SELLER HAS TO PAY FOR COST OF RETURN, but if you insist on doing it your way then you pay.

I never had to return an item and did not know the process. As I normally buy on Amazon and they either arrange collection or refund I didn't know ebay was so complicated. As I bought this from ebay, it shouldn't matter who zi bought it from as I thought you vet your suppliers but obviously not. I shan't be using ebsy again because they cannot be trusted.
