Hello everyone
I was on ebay the other night after midnight when suddenly I was asked to update my app but it wouldn't work. So, essentially I was thrown off without warning for having an older phone. I see this has happened to many others too. An absolute disgrace which shows a contempt for customers.
Furthermore, I cannot access the website page either as for some reason it thinks I'm a bot! Tried all the suggestions about Javascript but to no avail. Not even able to sign in. I am writing this now from a computer in a public library. Has anyone else had this trouble?
On top of all this ebay seems to go out of its way to be unapproachable. Round and around in circles getting nowhere. At least with Amazon you can speak to a person, even after hours. Any suggestions appreciated.

The latest eBay app version is no longer compatible with android 9 and below. It actually requires OS android 10 and above. If you have another device with android 10 and above you can check the most recently updated eBay app version and see if you can view images.
If you are using OS android 10 and above and still have issues with viewing images on the app please let me know. State what version you use and type of device and I'll have it looked into further by tech.
No one has posted that then the web browser is an issue, but some report removing the app then the browser on the phone was available.

Hi and thanks for replying
I am now able to log in on the webpage via Firefox but cannot use the app as my phone is Android 9. Not great but at least i know why. Unfortunately the webpage on my phone has limitations, like not being able to reply on here or submit a return request to send things back but its better than nothing. So, I am once more writing this message from my library, hence the delay.
Once again I appreciate you getting back to me (you were the only one) as I was feeling a bit isolated before.
