Blocked bidder

What are experienced business sellers thoughts on blocked bidders creating a new user ID and coming back to make purchases?

I have spoken to eBay today and they say I should still send the item but this could be a vendetta for the buyer to break the item or leave untrue feedback?

shouldn’t I simply cancel the sale and eBay remove feedback they leave or take my chances?

what would you do?

Once again it’s the old chestnut of sellers not being protected enough, especially with negative feedback.

It's meant to be against the rules for someone to create a new account to get round your blocks.  The ebay rep should have known this and taken action, not told you to send it.

The problem is that if ebay won't cancel the sale, there is no relevant cancellation option for sellers to choose, i.e one that won't cause a defect.

I think you need to weigh up the downsides of cancelling with the reason for the block being the deciding factor.

You hit the nail on the head!
EBay’s weak and limited reasons for reporting a buyer and feedback removal policy needs to be changed!
