I rather stupidity went from a personal account to a business account last week and it is the worst thing I done. The fees are crippling. I do large items so postage is sometimes as much as £150 and eBay taking a cut off this aswell.
With around 400 items listed, the renewal of 36p per item every month leaves me with no option but to subscribe to the Feature Shop at £77 per month.
My question is for those who have one is there a benefit to this? Will sales increase? Since moving to a business account our sales are down 90% in a week.
We sell many car parts but take an engine for example. One sold for £400. EBay took nearly £60! Then £150 postage leaves us £190 from a £400 sale before tax etc.
The fees really are on the extreme side.
