Battery for Dyson V6 Vacuum

I received a text from Ebay yesterday warning of safety problems with this battery which I purchased,  and contact the seller to resolve.  I immediately contacted the seller who responded by saying that they have the CE certificate and this is just a spot check by ebay and to ignore it.   Should I still be concerned and if so, what is the next step?   Thanks!

eBay doesn't make spot checks on items sold. If they have issued a safety warning, they will be passing on a recall notice or similar from the manufacturers.

Most after-market batteries are from China. On items imported direct from sellers in China CE marks may be faked, or may be a Chinese lookalike CE mark. This is almost identical, only difference being slightly different spacing between the letters. The Chinese disingenuously claim that this mark means "China Export"!
