Batteries not included

Am I being unreasonable?  Thomas trains listed with lovely video of it working on the track.  Listing states track not included.  Items arrived and don't work.  Seller says need to buy batteries.  I said it was reasonable of me to expect item to work as per video.  Seller says listing does not state batteries ARE included but my argument is that it does not state they ARE NOT included and the video implies that they would be.  I want the items but don't think it fair that I now have to buy batteries.

I agree it should state batteries NOT included.

You have 2 options,

open item not as described case and return for refund,

Or buy batteries yourself.

like tobiasd4 i think seller should have stated if batteries were included or not but depending on the type it uses it's posssible they wouldn't have been allowed in the post.

While it should have been quoted and you can open a not as described case to return for a refund, this is details of batteries not allowed in the post -
