Giving email addresses

Hi

a seller is asking for my email address so he can claim from Royal Mail for an undelivered item. Is this reasonable? Should I give personal information like this?

 Thanks

Giving email addresses

Doubt sending an email would get through messages.

Is it really necessary, I have never heard anyone asking this before, but completing a claim form seller would have to give your name and address and I expect RM would require confirmation that you have not received item. However if tracking was used, then if no tracked proof of delivery I would have thought that was enough.

I hope seller has refunded you before claiming.
