Hi, I am trying to buy a set of 2 x kitchen knives and have done so before in the past, however e-bay are wanting me to verify my age. When I go through the hoops and sign in etc it asks me to pay by CREDIT CARD. I have never had a credit card and only use a Debit Card or Paypal. I am actually 73 years old and at loss to see why I cannot buy these. I do understand about the aged limit for knives and similar, but anyone else ever had this problem??? Thanks for any advice.
Thank you, I just don't do so much on e-bay these days. I used to have a shop on here, but now retired so buy most of the time and occasional sell personal items. I have never had a Credit Card in my life and don't intend to get one just to buy a couple of kitchen knives, will probably get them in the main Town centre where I live next time I go there.
