Assistance Needed – Refund for Item Not Received

Hello,

 

I purchased an item on eBay, but it never arrived due to the wrong address being printed on the package. The delivery company confirmed that the parcel sat in storage for a couple of weeks before being returned to the sender. However, the seller has told me they never received it back.

 

I paid for the item but never received it. It has now been more than 90 days since the purchase — we waited in case the item was delivered later — and I can no longer open a dispute through eBay. The seller is willing to issue a refund via eBay, but I cannot find a way to raise the case at this stage.

 

Could you please advise on how we can resolve this and process the refund?

if you paid by PayPal and are within 180 days, open a not received PayPal case.

Via your PayPal account however you normally access it.

Refunds through ebay can be made up to 90 days, although not through a case. Seller could simply have clicked refund in the drop down menu, but probably had no intention of refunding.
