Anything wrong with the name "Lockheed"?

Bidder says he is being prevented from bidding for this item and requests me to remove the name. Lockheed is a well known aircraft manufacturer and there are many listings in obey including that name.

The listing title doesn't prevent a bidder from bidding.

Can you ask him what message he's seeing when he tries to place a bid?

eBay doesn't just "prevent" buyers from bidding, they provide a reason. To try to help you, we need to know what reason they gave the buyer.

At a wild guess, eBay's unintelligent AI - which I have always suspected is little more than keyword scanning - might have picked up some international ban on the import/export of aviation products. Especially if the buyer is in the US.

The bidder says he is UK and Canada. I suspect bidding from Canada.

He gets:-

"Checkout Error

Unfortunately, this item isn't available for purchase in your location. (e270051-126049x)"

I've removed the name "Lockheed" from the listing and he is now able to bid. Interestingly, another bidder had successfully bid - not sure whether that occurred before or after I removed "Lockheed".

Almost as if I hadn't enabled worldwide sales. Is that what the error code means perhaps?
