Anyone else think this new pay out system is a joke?! 7 out of the 9 last items I have sent (Letter) still only show despatched and 4 of those have positive feedback proving they have been delivered but ebay will not release the funds! So if Royal Mail don't do their job correctly us sellers have to wait a month to get paid. Made my views know on ebay chat but that was a waste of time. Anyone know where we can send an official complaint? Maybe we could get a petition going?! I'm a private seller and feel I have no support.

Why do you think you will have to wait a month?

Ebay have been clear about when payments will be released:

48 hours after tracking shows delivery

14 days after the transaction date if there is no tracking

Then, from the end of February, for items costing under £10, you will be paid 24 hours after positive feedback is left.

So, the maximum time you will wait is two weeks.

I hadn't seen any of that🤔. But I think I may be did get the month time
frame wrong working from a dodgy memory 🤣.

As of 4 Feb, funds will typically be available in your eBay balance 2 days after delivery.

Yes delivery being the operative word customer gets it but eBay doesn't
know because royal mail didn't scan the letter at delivery!!

So what happens if buyer doesn't leave feedback & RM didn't scan at delivery?

No feedback and no tracking? Then you will be paid 14 days after the transaction.

Private sellers don't have to pay wages or buy stock.

In a month or two, if you have regular sales, you will receive regular payments - albeit from items you sold 5-14 days before.

In all honesty, for me, this new system is not an issue at all.

The last time I sold a few bits of gold jewellery at an auction house, I was paid 5 weeks after the sale.

I know what you are saying, it's not so much the having to wait for the money as the principle that the goods have obviously been delivered because feedback has been received but ebay don't take that into account because of RM inefficiency , ATM anyway, maybe it will be better come March, we will see. 😉  thanks for the comments everyone.
