I have been using the same bank account and bank card for years. No changes to my bank details. No problems... until about August of last year.
eBay decided to put my payments on hold and messages to say I need to add a new payment method. Even though my card can still be used at checkout and is already verified on my account, eBay stopped making pay outs. Despite being verified on my account, eBay will not verify it for pay outs.
Several calls back and forth to eBay, they insist it's my bank that have put a block on it.
My bank confirm there has been no such block, which is backed up by the fact that I can still use my card on eBay to purchase things. eBay is just withholding my pay outs.
Never mind, to get round direct pay outs I could still withdraw funds to my bank account manually or use my eBay balance towards purchasing items... until last week. Now these have also stopped.
I have an available balance but no way of accessing it.
Over the weekend, the eBay advisor 'escalated' it and said it would be working by today. This has not happened.
eBay are now advising I have to add a new payment method otherwise they will not pay out.
So it's okay to take money from the "unverifiable" (but verified) bank account, but eBay are refusing to pay out my balance to the same account?!
Anyone else have this issue??
