Age veryfacation to buy edging shears, i don't have a credit card it says debit card is not acceptab

I'm trying to purchase a pair of edging shears, ebay say credit card details are needed to verify my age, i don't have a credit card, they are saying debit card is not proof. I'm 78 years old.

I am sorry but ebay do require credit card verification for bladed items.   There's no getting around it unless you can get someone else to buy on your behalf on their account.
