Age verification

Why is ebay not looking into this silly "age verification " massive problem ? It is making items too expensive to sell so they lose revenue by us not listing innocent items like "wooden " paper knives etc etc etc. It has been going on for months with no resolution that I know of.

Nothing silly about age verification. 

It is the law, applies to all blade purchases on the Web and in shops.

To buy these items, ebay only accepts credit card as proof of age.

You are right, nothing silly about age verification, but if someone wants to do harm they can open any cutlery drawer and take what the want without buying off ebay and waiting for delivery. I do not know what the answer is, but it is making listing impossible, especially when business sellers are listing what they want with no age verification, seemingly.
