Age Verification For Restricted Items

How can I verify my age (over 60) in order to buy an age-restricted item?

I don’t have a credit card, only a debit.

I'm afraid a credit card is the only way eBay accept as proof that a member is over the age of 18 years,  as anyone of any age can own a debit card.

Can you perhaps ask a family member or friend who does have a credit card on their eBay account,  to buy this item for you ?
