A buyer has returned an item (incorrectly) as faulty, when really a change of mind

A buyer has returned an item (incorrectly) as faulty when it works well, do I have to pay the return postage?

I assume they have already returned the item using the label you supplied.

You can contact Ebay Customer Services and complain to them.  They sometimes do offer postage refunds in this situation, mainly, in my experience, to business sellers.

You can also report the buyer for abusing the Money Back Guarantee although Ebay will respond by telling you that they won't reveal what action (if any) they take.

Thank you but it appears to be impossible to contact a real person at Support.

You might have trying too early when it's a ' chat bot' or now the lines may be busy for a ' live agent'.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays

9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.

Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
