So over the last 4 months have been using 48hr tracked , I had a issue when a item tracking only showed up as in transit and stayed like that,unsure if I should give a refund I contacted e-bay,they checked and were happy I had dispatched it and said I didn't need to refund the buyer as they could see on the system I had indeed sent it, they said the buyer would have to open a unpaid item case and e-bay would refund

I explained all this in a message and urged them to do so ( they had left it 2 weeks before  I had any knowledge of the issue, they never did 3 says later they said haven't received item,so I explained it all again ,I rang e-bay again and they told me I had done my best  to help the seller and it was up to them to open a "item not recieved" case and e-bay would refund ,however since then I am confused as a friend says she thought you had to refund,but e-bay said different to me ?

Always upload tracking to ebay when posting item.

Never chase buyers, they will soon let you know if there is an issue.

Ebay can be slow to update with tracking.

As long as RM website shows as delivered.

But if buyer opens item not received case and it doesn't show as delivered, you refund through case and claim from RM.
