3rd party card detail requests with reason being sited for age vericification

i have been asked when buying  a wood saw, for age verification via my bank card directly from the  ebay site but my supspicion was aroused by the 3rd party web address

Does anyone now about the veracity of this?

I don't know about that link.

But bank card is not proof of age, only credit card.
