3G new mobile phone selling on ebay

 I purchased 3g moible phone on ebay it works well but keep getting text from 03 top up your phone? I  Have unlimted calls so ph 03 turns out that G3 is being turned off across uk starting 6 march 24 I purchased this phone after the 6 there lots of 2g/3g new phones and other things on ebay 2g/3g seling new so be carefull  the seller must have known about this?

Lots of buyers buy phones for spare and repair, and send them abroad etc,so many that are sold are basically being recycled,which is a good thing.
