Help! I have had to open a case as the item I bought never arrived.The seller believes that a photo of the postal receipt (sent economy) should warrant enough info as to avoid paying or part paying for my loss.We have ping ponged responces however I now want ebay to step in and resolve.I can't understand the responce page as there is no info/highlighted box to show how I ask them to do so....it just keeps repeating 'continue' and sends me straigt back to the page to re contact her? Guess it is just that I am missing something somewhere.Please help.
You only see the option to escalate for ebay to review one the case has been open for exactly 8 days to the second.
If the seller only has a proof of postage receipt then you will win the case, you just need to be patient.
Such a shame the seller cannot see that because if ebay have to force the refund from them they will lose out on a refund of their selling fee.
You may wish to inform the seller that they can use their proof of postage receipt to claim compensation from Royal Mail.
