returned item yet ebay closed case

I received an item that wasn't as described, so returned to the seller as instructed by ebay. I provided tracking info, now ebay has closed the case so I have lost my money and the item! Please help!

Did you escalate the dispute 8 days after opening it

Did you check the tracking to make sure the item was Delivered or Attempted delivery made

 

You can not open another case on ebay so open a not as described dispute in paypal and put the tracking into the dispute

As long as it says delivered then you should win

Make sure you escalate the dispute as soon as you can but with in 20 days
