"Seller Protection" is nonsense!

Recently sold a set of brand new expensive cutlery.  Buyer requested a return as the inside of the box had apparently mysteriously become damaged in transit.  Received the cutlery back to find the forks had all been taken out and replaced with cheap, old, flimsy and used charity shop finds.   According to Ebay I have no option but to refund the buyer and just have to take the loss on the chin as the set is now not suitable for reselling!   16 years selling with Ebay while this buyer has dodgy feedback for selling.  Of course no option to leave negative feedback to warn other sellers of this buyer either!  VERY CROSS!

EDIT...  I've appealed the decision saying that the buyer made no mention of the cutlery being not as described, only that the inside box was damaged, and Ebay have refunded the money to my account.
