Hello, I put an item not received to a seller after nearly 2 weeks,  on non delivery status,  but now it was delivered over the weekend and left by the bins (for how long i do not know but at least overnight in the rain) I've just returned home from a  weekend overnight shift to find the parcel. Its been attacked by foxes and chewed, it was a new pair of shoes. Hermes delivered it, on their notification of delivery it stated 3 attempts over 3 days would be attempted for delivery so it could have been safely delivered tomorrow if they bothered. On the original listing no mention of Hermes was made,  just "delivery in 2/3 days" that was on the 16th March. So as it stands, I am in the middle of a non delivery complaint which I now need to change to:  item arrived damaged. But if I close the non delivery case will I be able to open a new case on the same item ? Hermes have emailed me their drivers' photo on the parcel among the bins (and broken glass) I have taken a photo of it also still in the same place but obviously badly damaged. how do i cancel if i asked for refund then changed my mind and wanted to keep it the seller told me that they can,nt cancel from there end because i had already opened and  i canceled it and excepted the return  and opened it so he can,nt cancel from his i would have to do it so can u please help ... So i won auction for some popular item. And there is a huge chance it might be a chineese replica (or might not). I asked seller to provide more info on his lot, pictures or other proof of authenticity (original listing has only 1 image of poor quality).  And the seller keeps ignoring my messages.  I`m willing to buy this lot if this is an original item. And i`m not going to pay 4x price for chineese ripoff i don`t need even for free.  And here is a deal. I want to pay for this lot, but i can`t because i`m not sure it will be exactly what i need and what is described.  But if i refuse to pay i will get some kind of strike or bad habbit badge.  And the seller will get away with it? Right?    SO. How i can force seller to proove his item is original or how i can legally refuse to pay this lot without getting strike from ebay.    ... View more

I am having a nightmare with EBAY at the moment. I made a new business account as i wanted to retain my current one as a personal account. I sold 100 items using the covid support so all was at no charge. I then received a message to say my account was  restricted until i sent over documentation. I sent the documentation and then received back that i would be permanently restricted and that all my linked accounts are also restricted. On that account there was no bad feedback, i sorted issues out immediately but ebay wouldnt budge. It took me 3 months to close the account down and was told to move my personal ebay account to a business, so i did. I have had my personal account for 15 plus years, with a feedback of 99.3% with ratings of 594. I assumed naively that if i close down the account my familys accounts would not be restricted any more. that is not the case. The question is if i close down all the accounts where there is a selling restriction and once closed down they can reopen another account would that still have selling restrictions? Hi  ibrought a clock the  i was give to understand that it would sent by special delivery, next day this did not happen, i contacted the seller, and told that he was unwell and the clock would be sent on at later date, i agreed, the clock was still not sent, i again contact the seller and recieved a long winded email and veiled threat ,of refunding my money, my original payment was retured via pay pal, without any consultation from me as he had my money and it had been cleared, he had my money to do as he pleased with, it could have been used for other puposes, or he may have had no intensions of selling the clock what ever the reason ,i belive the clock was mine, and still is in spite of a refund, i connot find if eBay has a policy on this matter it's come down to a question of ownership, look foward to any ones views ... Sent a plant cutting out the day after it sold. Have tracking on the item and it shows Royal Mail have tried to deliver it twice. The last time the buyer set the delivery date. Just wondering what I need to do if the cutting is sent back it me? It was an expensive cutting and will probably be dead on arrival.  ... View more

Hi all   I bought an ornament last year clearly described as a 'wooden sculpture'. Following a small drop it has broken and it's clearly resin, not wooden at all. We did not pay VAT In UK on PayPal charges so will we now be charged VAT by eBay on their higher charges and 30p per item fee? If so - on the Item you will be charged 12.8% Plus VAT = to 13.3 %  An additional .5% on Selling Fees Plus an additional 6p (20%) on the 30p fixed charge a Total of 36p. Also For Example on the regular Small Parcel cost of £3.20  an additional 42.5p Fee .  Selling low price items and charging normal postal rates are you loosing money? ... View more
