Hi i sold some wedding centre pieces on ebay which were free P&P. Buyer contacted me to say two were damaged, i said fine i would refund return postage costs and they would be £8 at Hermmes prices tracked as that is how i sent them. I have now recieved an email to say she is returning them via royal mail at a cost of £21!! a big difference between £8 & £21, do i have to pay these costs? or can i challenge them? ... View more

I chased delivery of an item with seller after two weeks, next day my account showed 'item despatched'. On checking the seller feedback I realised they were actually based in China (not Manchester as stated on product page) and their score for negative feedback, including the item I had bought, was very poor (100's in last 6 months) I therefore requested a refund given the late delivery, which company have made quickly but they have asked me to repay for the item if it does arrive. I find this strange practice, Is this allowable under Ebay T&C's and should I accept this offer as I'm a bit stuck since the money has already been refunded to Paypal? I wanted the item I ordered quickly, so really want to buy from another seller not have to wait any longer.
