Bought some alloys for cash and the alloys are in a way useless ..buckled etc

I recently bought some alloys for cash and paid a good amount around 270 , i contacted the seller and said could he send me some money back the cost of a new alloy which i think is fair because the alloys are useless as they are.he hasnt replied basically done me over ..need help ???

Nothing you can do on ebay as you didn't use paypal.  You could try a 'letter before action', or ask Citizen's advice for help, but why would you want just some money back if they are useless?  You would have a better case if you had asked for a full refund, although ebay still wouldn't have helped.
