I bought an item, whilst as a guest, and received a confirmation email and later an email stating the item was being posted. When I click on "view item details", my order cannot be found. I have accepted a return as a gesture of goodwill however when I have read the description provided by the buyer of the state of my item I have changed my mind. I have now asked for photos but they are refusing to send any. I am also asking for them to show evidence of the postage cost back as I have to send them the monies for them to post back. They have said they will let eBay Dort this out. Surely in any part of life I am in my rights to change my mind and surely I am allowed to see evidence of this badly damaged item I have allegedly sent them. The buyer is making up the damage as this is their get out clause to send back and me pay for the privilege. I have had items sent back to me before that have been swapped when I spoke to the eBay support they said I have to take it in good faith this person won't do that. So this person refuses to show photos, refuses to send a screen shot of the postage costs back and in my mind has made up an excuse to send the item back but I have to take it in good faith that they will send the true item back, really !!! ...
