I bought an Apple Watch over a month ago and it is still activation locked. The seller to give them their due was trying to get it unlocked their end but it didn't work. They said that I could send it back for a refund,send it back to see if they could unlock it or contact Apple to help.  I went with the Apple choice and they said they had raised a request with Apple and it would take 1 day to a month to complete. Hi Everyone. I posted an item to a buyer and it was delivered to an argos store as requested. He arrived a day late to collect it and the person couldn't find it. It's not been returned to me. I am wondering if someone may be able to help? I had a holiday at a resort in the uk for sale on ebay due to the fact we could no longer go and the balance had been paid and was no longer amendable.  I received 1 bid during the auction and had 6 watches.  Midweek in to my 7 day listing the holiday firm called me to say the resort facilities would be closed due to covid restrictions and the holiday would not go ahead as booked so I had to choose an alternative resort. I had a message off the bidder asking if the holiday was still available so I messaged them to explain what had happened with the holiday supplier. I cancelled the bid and ended the listing as no longer available. I was unsure wether to put listing description error or no longer available as it falls in to both categories. I was given a warning screen that I may be liable for the final value fee but I though this was just in the instance you sold off ebay with the bidder or other areas of foul play. I have since been sent a bill of £160 from ebay. I have spoken to someone on call and 2 others on live chat and they just say its been escalated.  It has now been 3 days and not had a response other than a notification the funds have been applied for from my bank.  I understand ebay need some terms that cover them for people advertising and selling elsewhere but in some cases genuine problems do occur with listings.  Ebay advisor said I should have let the listing run and then cancel after it had finished but I thought that would be worse for the bidder? How do i report a suspicious buyer? There does not seem any way to contact ebay to let them know. I recieved an offer from a supposed buyer but they asked me to contact them via whatsapp which i know is not allowed and it is unsafe. i was going to decline the offer but they have now sent me a spoof email retracting their offer. I have not opened the second email from them but want ebay to see it so they can monitor them. as i do not believe it was a genuine offer and that they are trying to hack my account or get my payment details or something. Im going around in cirlces as each time i try to look under buying issues there is not a category that this issue fits into so i hit a brick wall and the suspicious buyer is still trying to scam me and possibly others because of this loop hole. ... eBay sees its online community as self-regulating. eBay stated “In some situations, we may remove or adjust Feedback for transaction defects” My Negative Feedback was intended to warn other potential buyers of the risk that this seller ignored significant elements of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Dubious eBay sellers can take comfort that my Negative Feedback was not published. WARNING - NOT AS DESCRIBED - NOT OF SATISFACTORY QUALITY. The shed was much shorter than the 6x4 advertised, the material used was a cheap flimsy plastic and the style did not reflect the image shown. I was told that in order to receive a refund of my £XXX purchase that I needed to arrange & pay for the non-refundable return.  After I paid this £XXX the seller claimed that they would have collected it FOC. eBay knows the issues with this Seller and does nothing to prevent these sales.
