Good afternoon I have recently had a sale where eBay have deducted VAT from me on an international sale to Austria leaving me 22% out of pocket on both the item snd the shipping costs. I am a business seller but not a VAT registered seller. Ebay customer services in America are looking into and have "raised a ticket" as they have found a technical glitch but it will take at least a week befor their IT people get to it. Has this happened to any one else and does anyone know how to avoid it?   TIA ... View more

Does anybody know how to stop ebay from constantly hounding for banking details? They do not need this infomration UNTIL I want to sell which I don't any time soon.  Why would any sane person give unneccessary banking details to a company that has major data leaks in the past?  Their emails read like common scams. "If you dont give us your banking details by xxxx you will lose the ability to sell." They are wording like if in the future you want to sell you won't be able to. I am pretty angry at this. ... Hi, A buyer wants to return an item which appears to be defective, how do i send him money for postage which he is requestingon the new ebay payments system?
