Hi all, I hope you can help please. It's a nightmare and I really can't see any way to go forward. I sold an item of furniture a while ago. The buyer arranged their own courier, they got the chairs and said they were damaged and wanted to return them, to which I explained that they didn't leave my care damaged and I couldn't take a refund if their courier damaged them (I did explain they could have returned them no problem had they not been damaged). Anyway, I won the eBay case. Then the opened a payment request through the managed payments. I called eBay and asked what evidence they needed to fight the case, I was told countless times "don't worry sir", "we have your back", "you will be protected no matter what". A few months passed of this and... you guessed it! PayPal decided in the buyers favour, the buyer got to keep the chairs and the funds on hold for released to the buyer. That's the first issue! THEN! I got a message from eBay saying that they were taking the funds direct from my account in 3 days from that message. I called eBay immediately, they said "ah don't worry sir, we can see the funds were released", that's just an automated message" I was confused as I've never had that before usually. anyway I went through all my payments over the past 4 months with a guy from managed payments, it took a while but he too could see that I'd had both sets of funds taken, first release then a further payment taking from my account. He promised he'd help me (not the first advisor to do this btw), then to tell me he's leaving the company in a week but would call me everyday with an update as he wasn't going to leave without sorting it! He called three one with no updates, then stopped two days before he was due to leave, I had his name so tried to call managed payments, and they lied to me saying he's due to call me back, he never did. I called up fruriously demanding a manager and make an official complaint and full investigation to hear all the lies and deceit I've had to put up with, they basically are refusing saying I'm due a call back. I did get a Lame message in pretty much broken English saying I need to send a screenshot of the transaction leaving my bank but no way to send it. The agent on the phone could see the bank transaction within one minute of looking, it is obvious the person that emailed me didnt even bother to look at my payments. I still have a case in for seller protection for the initial release but they are not getting back to me on that also. it's for quite a large sum of money (£1830 in total!) and I'm beyond stressed, I just don't know where to turn. please, can anyone offer up any help or advise of what I can do? best JT
