I'm in the UK. A few listings for books located in the US state that 20% VAT will be added on import to the UK whereas most do not.  This does not appear in the item's page but only in the listing produced after searching. E.g. Search for "The Standard Book of Knowledge" on ebay.co.uk and the listing shows "20% VAT will apply" which is wrong as books are 0% VAT rated. The item is correctly listed under books -> antiquarian and collectable. Will VAT be charged somehow? Many thanks. ... View more

I am a new seller.  I sold a piano and it has been collected. Hi, Anyone had requests from ebay to upgrade payment methods? ie, load a card number with account and sort code (through trustly). Im feeling its a scam, and reluctant to go with the request even though its within my account and login.  I have haypal loaded which is linked to my banking, so why would i need to add a current account?
