I have received a letter through the post from a debt collection company saying they demanding I pay nearly £300 which I owe ebay. This is nonsense as I have never bought anything expensive from ebay and have alwys paid up front. It's out of office hours just now so I can't call ebay but I am obviously worried. Would appreciate any help.
nb It's a very threatening letter.

To check your fees go to the account tab on your MY ebay page then Summary then Fees
If there is nothing there then you need to sort it out with the company not ebay
Is the letter addressed to you by name and is the address correct
Contact Citizens advice and see what they say
You dont pay any fees if you only buy only when you sell and if you dont sell then you dont owe any fees
