how to block an abusive message - seller

Hi

I want to block an abusive message sender.

Tried the option where you block buyers, but it would not accept the username, although it is correct.

I have reported him to ebay, although they don't give the outcome, which doesn't mean much really.

This is a selller who opened a case against me for not returning an item, although he had signed for it.

Any advice welcome please.

If you buy something on eBay and you want to return it you must "open a case" on eBay's resolution centre [link below].  If [as you say - I think] you did not there really is nothing eBay will do.

If you open a case for "return" to a business seller where - for example - you do not like the colour the seller sends you a label which you pay for. The label has tracking and when eBay can see the delivery to the seller the refund is made.  If the item is faulty then you open a "not as described" case and the seller sends a label which he pays for and then the case proceeds as before.

@*guinevere*  [please help me out here! Am I right? ]  There really is no case that the seller can open apart from if you did not pay.   I really cannot get to grips with what eBay means.
