Firstly no one from eBay monitors these posts and they have no particular wish to accept suggestions. We are all members like you.
We all take the point about these scams I'd guess. There is a simple way to report from each item. There is no "form" to fill in but three drop down menus. You will never get to know whether your report has done anything but the more that report the better; surely?
It is perfectly possible to buy a car on ebay. You bid and win and then go and see the car. If you accept it then you pay, preferably in cash, and drive away. There is no provision to see a car prior to completing an auction. The better way is if the seller uses "classified" which is like an advert in a paper.
The real scam comes if a "seller" wants you to pay before even seeing the car and promises to deliver. He may also tell you of ebay's "escrow" system where they hold the money for 7 days until you are satisfied. It is - of course - a fake site and eBay does not provide that service!
