e-mailing customer

Hi can anyone help, I am trying to contact a customer but every time I send a message it says the message cannot be sent and to try again later does anyone know why this keeps happening?

EBay doesn't allow users to enter email addresses in messages.

If you would like to tell us more about what you're trying to do someone here may be able to advise you.

It isn't necessary to give out email addresses on eBay. If someone is asking you to do so it could be the beginnings of a scam. (Although you don't seem to have sold anything valuable enough to make this likely.)
