combining postage

A buyer buys more than 1 item and wants to benefit from a discount for posting all as one lot. The option to apply a discount on the invoice seems to not be working over the last 24 hours, anyone else experience this?

Just send a combined invoice.  Click on Send Payment Details, far right of one item on your sold page (you may have to click on "More Actions" first).  The other items will be on there.  Make sure they're ticked to show you're combining, then change the postage to what you've decided to charge and submit (don't click on reset if it's there).

But if it's an overseas buyer who has bought through ebay's Global Shipping Programme you will not be able to combine.   You have to send each item separately.

Thanks but it doesn't work. I've been selling on here for a long time and have always managed to combine postage and do exactly as you say in your message but since last night when you click to send the revised invoice you get a 'Technical Error' message

You could send an invoice from your Paypal account using the Send & Request link at top of page.

I've just been on an online chat session with ebay help desk, they suggest it is a browser issue and recommend changing browser to Firefox for example. I haven't tried this yet so can't confirm if it solves the issue.
