Withdraw bid

I'm no longer able to afford my bid on an item, as is the case at the moment unfortunately I'm winning! 

Can anyone tell me if I'm able to and if so how I can withdraw my bid please?!

The reasons for you retracting a bid DO NOT include inability to pay.  You must only bid if you can pay and not waste the sellers time.

Sellers have to pay for the privilege of selling and while most fees can be rcovered that is done by giving Non Payers an Unpaid Strike. More than one and you will be blocked by many sellers as Time wasters are not appreciated.

Thanks for your reply. Must admit I didn't realize one had to pay for the
privilege to sell, and I didn't fully realize various repercussions. I
fully understand though.
