War Medals Listed Separately When They Should Remain Together

Please help.  I have listed two war medals separately when they should have been listed together.  I had no idea that there were two medals in my late father-in-law's collection that had been awarded to the same man.  Now it seems that I am almost certainly giving offence by selling them separately and thus dishonouring the memory of Private Alfred Day.  I am pasting below copies of two emails that I have received from bidders asking me to re-list the medals together rather than separately.  Please tell me how I can remove the existing listings and join them together in a new listing, given that both listings have bidders.

Hi, I see you have 2 medals to Alfred Day but if you don't mind me saying incorrectly listed in 2 lots instead of 1 as they should be. I am sure this was an oversight but please remember that firstly these are part of our country's military history and secondly, and more importantly, a lasting reminder of a soldier who endured all the horrors of war in the trenches in WW1 and paid the ultimate sacrifice. These have been together for nearly 100 years so who are we to change that. I believe each generation has a duty of care to maintain our history for those that follow. Many collectors will not bid on split auctions so you are losing out on bids. Medals to one man are a set and should be sold as such for that is what medal collectors want. So please start again with a new auction of all his medals that you have. I know you have bids but they will welcome this and others will join them. Regards John

Hi I do hope that you do not mind me saying that this medal and the BWM to Pte Day were issued together and should stay together. Please honour this soldier's service and memory by listing them together. I would also add that you should list them together with the information that he was killed on the !st day of the Somme 1/7/1916 .

I WOULD BE MOST GRATEFUL FOR YOUR HELP AND ADVICE, IT WOULD BE AWFUL TO GIVE OFFENCE IN THIS WAY.

I can't see an issue by listing them separately, you had bids on them so clearly there was a market for them. If a buyer wanted both medals they could've bid for both.

Now that you've ended the listings with bids on them you'll be charged 10% eBay final value fees on the highest bid price.

If you're happier listing them both together then list them again but together.
