The buyer did not recognise the transaction and opened dispute

The buyer did not recognise the transaction and opened dispute,

I've been charged £14.00 fees on top of having to refund buyer and they've kept the item.

Ebay does not allow sellers to put there case forward unlike paypal so because it was a low cost item we don't buy tracking. Ebay was only interested in a tracking number and settled in buyers favour.

Buyer lying and claiming they didn't open case.

I'm so unhappy with losing nearly £20 for no reason.

**** Edit - Spoken with Ebay who have partially sorted this out and I'm 80% happier with the outcome. Thank you to all who commented.

Are you saying that on managed payments, if the buyer does an unauthorised payment chargeback, ebay will find against you unless you have tracking?
