Selling Promotions

I regularly recieved selling promotions ( only pay £1 when you sell ) up until 28/9/20 usually 2 or 3 times a month for the last few years but nothing since then ! Is anyone else having this problem ? I have lots of items to list ready for Christmas so this has killed my sales .

There can be long breaks there is no predictable pattern. You might just as well list now instead of leaving it too late.

If the fee is a problem then just up your prices, better to try selling than waiting for an offer which may not come.

Perhaps ebay have noticed that you are selling NEW, which implies a Business Seller, in which case you would not qualify for offers only for Private Sellers.

None of us know when the Promo will be offered again, or who will Receive it. Is totally Random.

When I contacted ebay they told me this too , it just seems strange to get
them on a fairly regular basis as I said in my initial message then
suddenly nothing . Just wanted to see if it was just me that has been
effected.

Let's hope so as I have spent everything I have on new stock and I'm dining
on beans on toast ! Hahaha !!! It seems rather unhelpful in these difficult
times to suddenly stop giving out these offers to sellers. It also means
I'm unable to buy too without sales . Thank you for your replies 🙂

In which case you are not entitled to promotion as you should be registered as a business.

I'm a private seller , I don't have a big enough turn over of items to be a
business seller or for it to be worthwhile . Also when I say new it's new
to ebay and not necessarily all brand new some of it is vintage and most of
it is discontinued items.

You are buying to sell, you admitted that, so in the eyes of ebay you are a business.
"An eBay seller must register as a business if, for example, they sell items they have bought to resell,"
