Hi I bid on an item with no bids on it i placed £50, my initial bid to see what was going to happen, a few bids were placed over the next couple of hours and then it was stagnant for a day or so, I had the top bid of about 26, all the bids were private listed, then the bids increased to £1 over my top bid of £50, 10 mins later that was retracted and i was the highest bidder, my suspicions were heightened a little...anyway the closing minutes came along and the bids increased i then put what i was willing to pay for the item £90 and was out bid by 1 bid of £92, i thought fair enough, until today (nx day) i see the item relisted at a set price higher than the winning bid, this leaves a bit of a taste of an unscrupulous seller, especially as bidding cannot been seen due to it being private, what is the purpose of that tool?
I really feel like messaging seller or contacting ebay, I really am sick of the lack of intgritiy on the part of the waste of time buyers who don't pay etc, but what can one expect when the sellers appear to have no morals regarding this market place...
