How Seller can close "Item not received" case once Buyers did receive items?

I am a seller.

I have "Items not received" cases open.  OK, items arrive eventually with delays.

Buyers or tracking numbers show this. But Buyers don't bother closing the cases.

I worry. EBay doesn't want to be contacted. Thank you

When you despatch the item you should enter the tracking number into the sale summary.  This will close the case as soon as delivery is established.  If you did not do that simply enter the tracking into the case and it will close if delivery is shown.  If you do nothing and the buyer does not escalate the case will "time out".

I would point out that - despite all Britain's problems - there is no general problem with RM delivery. Other carriers may vary.  I have bought hundreds of items in the last 18 months. Every single one has arrived within eBay's time frame and the vast majority within 24 or 48 hours on the labels.  One classic [ a jacket] was ordered on a Sunday and delivered on the next day [by Hermes!] at 2pm.

Our postie says that his job is easier as the roads are clear and people at home to receive.
