HI, I received negative feedback from a buyer who bid on an item of mine but who was based in the United States. It clearly stated on my auction page that I post to United Kingdom at a postal charge of £2.90. No mention of international postage on the auction page. As soon as the bidding was over and I realised that he was in the US (within a couple of minutes) I contacted the winner and explained that I dont post overseas and explained that it states in the auction that I post to the United Kingdom. He did not acknowledge my message and had not paid any money to me so I then cancelled the auction and sold the item via the second chance option. I've since received negative feedback from him stating 'cancelled auction for no reason- did not state that will not post to United States) Seems unfair to me as I did give him a reason and it did not state that I post overseas in the original auction! Messaged ebay 3 times asking for them to remove feedback but its still there and I've not heard anything from them. Am I being unreasonable or should I just accept this?
Phone customer support and report the buyer for feedback abuse and also for unwelcome bidding. Buyer in a country you didn't offer to shp to and calling something in feedback that was not offered in the listing.
