Put shop on holiday

Hi eBay Sellers,

Would anyone know how to put an eBay shop on holiday?

Several post offices in my area are temporarily closed and the one tiny shop that's left open has a queue round the building corner and every single transaction takes about 10 minutes, so it's hours in the queue.

Hence, I decided to put my eBay shop on holiday, as I cannot guarantee the dispatch time anymore, or dispatch at all, for that matter.

And, I am having trouble finding the right button in the Sellers view of eBay.

I searched Help and tried following instructions from Manage your eBay shop article:

Turning on your holiday settings and hiding your fixed price listings

Here's how to put your Shop on holiday and hide your fixed price listings:

  1. In the Change settings section of the Messages tab in My eBay, select Turn on under holiday settings.
  2. In the text box, enter a short note to your buyers advising that you're away.
  3. Tick the box beside Show people the date that you'll be back, and enter your return date.
  4. To hide your fixed price listings, tick the box beside Keep people from buying your fixed price listings while you're on holiday.

When you're ready to reopen your Shop, simply select Turn off under holiday settings.

However, for some reason I am not finding "holiday settings" in that section at all.

Would anyone here have any experience - and perhaps be able to help?

All eBay customer services options are turned off, so no calls, chat or call back, as they are figuring out how to make it work (from their COVID-19 update). Which I totally understand, it's a strange moment for everyone.

In the meantime, turning to this community for help.

Many thanks!
