Problem with paypal new psd2 security - can't access my account anymore

Long time eBay and paypal user but when I tried to pay using PayPal I could not get past new security as the texts from paypal not arriving, just checked with eBay and texted code arrived fine! Paypal says I must load a new bank card and email address! No thanks I will shop elsewhere as it's No longer worth the hassle

The texts I was supposed to get arrived 30 minutes after I had bought the item.  If you use the phone option instead of the text one they ring you with the code instead, that seems to work.

Thanks but now when I get as far as selecting text or call I now get we are sorry we don't recognise you!, Paypal chat said I need to obtain new bank card and new email address, so I am disappointed to say the least
