Payment methods on eBay?

Why is eBay Stating Sellers can choose what payment method they accept from buyers,like Cheques, Postal Orders payment on collection,then State to the Seller:They MUST Use PayPal a compnany owned by eBay as their Only payment method? is this Fraudulent Misrepresentation by eBay? If I lived in Germany or America  I could use eBay S.a.r.l as my Payment method,Why not in the UK? Discrimination by eBay? I need some answers from eBay,but they REfuse to answer my concerns?

Paypal is rightly viewed by sellers as dangerous for collection.  Cash is so delightful in that the seller does not ahve to pay PPs 3%.  The problem is that a buyer collecting something can simply deny that it was him but as the seller cannot prove delivery [by tracking] PP would refund.

EBay has brought in a partial solution in that the buyer gives the seller a code to enter

I reply to the latest message about PayPal. If I asked the buyer to pay
Cash on Collection, like I do when I go I to a Store, that Buyer will only
get the item they have paid for. So if the Original buyer failed to Pay for
the item, then they wont get the item. regards Who they are,and How they
got my Address for the Pick Up? Who gave them MY Details? So I ask YOU,
have buyers ALWAYS got what they paid for? I am waiting for a item I paid
for over 2 weeks ago? What happens if that item Fails to Arrive? I have ben
dealing with eBay and PayPal for YEARS. eBay was a Joy to deal with BEFORE
PayPal came along. I have ALWAYS had a 100% Feedback. My latest Purchase,
the Seller had Over 180 NEGATIVE FEEDBACKS, yet eBay as long as they and
PayPal get their FEES, the Buyer can go and get STUFFED.
