Paayment

Hi all.

I have bought an item and payed with PayPal. The seller has said that i cannot pick up my goods until he has the money in his account. So i have to wait 7 days. Is this true. TThe item in question is a reel to reel ttape deck so it is a large heavy iten. Collection only.

I have contacted the seller. He says he is within his rights to wait for payment to entter his account.

I don,t want to cuase any problems but i think some body from ebay needs to point out that what he is diong is wrong. I doubt he will listen to me.

The problem of course is that whatever the correct answer [explained by the others] the seller can prevent to collecting "until it is convenient".   I would certainly do a non-receipt case as soon as possible to "make the point"

Cash is far better for collection!

Hi. It had nothing to do with convenience. He would not let me have the item until money was in his account.
I contacted the seller and he just shouted at me. I have asked for a refund. I don’t need this sort of aggro.
