Hi
I had an item for auction sale (bids starting at £7.99) - the listing including a postage cost (£3.20) in addition to the auction sale price. I've accepted an offer (for £8.00) before the auction finishes.
I hadn't however realised that the buyer's offered price was to include postage. The buyer has subsequently contacted me to say they duly recived payment request from ebay seeking payment for the offer price (£8.00) plus £3.20 for postage - and the buyer has now asked me how this could be amended so they only pay a total price of £8.00.
I hadn't fully read the buyer's original message saying they were offering a price that offered postage. Do I have to accept the buyer's offer as it is - or can I refuse the offer and stipulate that postage is in addition?
Thank you.
When buyer made offer, it states clearly ITEM ONLY, they still have to pay P&P as listed.
If buyer doesn't pay, open unpaid case after 2 days, close 4 days later.
