Recently sold an item that was listed for £95 buy it now and was bought, however in my PayPal account I have only received payment for £91.57, is this normal?

yes it's normal
The money that is taken straight away is paypals fee for processing the payment,
ebay invoice for their fees after the sale.
Paypal charge 3.4% (3.9% for overseas payments) plus 20p
ebay charge 10% of the total - item price plus P&P
