I called eBay customer service today...(took me an hour just to find out how)!
And I complained about a buyer, who claimed that the 'Perfect' item that I posted
to them was missing a part? REALLY?
I always photograph my items as are... then as soon as that/those many photo's are taken for eBay
buyers to see, I wrap them in Cling film (because they are tins) and then in a bubble wrapped envelope.
How can a buyer then tell me that the top of the one item has snapped off or is missing?
Well, this is the buyer, maybe if they un-wrapped it properly then they would not have snapped it!
What was my response from eBay cusomer service?
A Indian woman, I could hardly understand her words, cheap labour in India...eBay qaulity!
She shouted at me... even though I was trying to prove my point as a innocent and honest seller that the last person I sold to had no reason to complain (which they did, for a freebie)!
eBay has lost all credibility in my view now!
No Paypal.
**bleep**tiest of the **bleep**, customer service.
Extroardinary crazy fee's ....not once, twice....but three times fees sometimes.
I am considering opening a new platform for second hand buying and selling., I have the money, I just need the HOW TO.
We don't need to rely on greedy BIG TECH
Show your strentgh and angst...make eBay re-consider their Paypal reform policy.
Show your strentgh as a seller, NO PAYPAL NO eBAY
was it the teletubbies tin?
if so, I can see the top being broken off in transit if you didn't use a box
when a buyer opens a not as described case there is nothing you can do, phoning ebay won't change the out come
you have to accept the return and refund in full once the item is returned
